Mextenis was founded in 1992. Being a Grupo Pegaso´s company, Mextenis organizes and carries out sporting events such as the Mexican Tennis Open, Los Cabos Open, and the Gymnastics Open.

Since its launching in 1993, the Mexican Tennis Open was the first successful tournament in Mexico. After more than 24 years of uninterrupted work, the Mexican Tennis Open becomes one of the most prestigious tournaments in the world and the most important in Latin America, in addition its the first tennis event in Mexico to have an official WTA women’s tournament.

The Gymnastics Open is an event that carried out its first edition in 2011 in Acapulco. In 2015, its venue was moved and has taken place since in Mexico City. Great figures like Nadia Comaneci have been part of this event and during its editions have participated great athletes like Daniel Corral, Mexican gymnast.

Los Cabos Tennis Open, which just celebrated its second edition in 2017, is the second most important ATP World Tour tennis tournament in the country. This event has helped boost the sport of profesional tennis in Mexico so it will keep on growing.
